3B Lab Members Jerrine George and Katherine Gupta presented at the 2025 Augustine Research Symposium and Dean’s STEMconnect Awards. Their work concerned formulations of antimicrobial peptides. The Augustine Research Symposium is named after Dr. Robert Augustine, founder of the Graduate Program at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall. Katherine was an awardee of the Dean’s STEMconnect research award last year, which supports summer undergraduate research in labs throughout the University including in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Psychology, Math, and Computer Science.
