2026 Petersheim Expo sees two 3B Lab Members present

This year’s Petersheim Academic Expo in Chemistry was held on April 21st, 2026 in McNulty Hall. There were two members of the 3B Lab presenting posters:

Evan Stull presented his poster titled: “Computational Modeling of Fungal β-1,3 Glucan Synthase and Inhibitor Drugs” wherein he described the use of Machine Learning to predict antifungal drug interactions with enzymes.

Belmin Kolenovic showcased some of his recent work with his poster: “Lipid and Polymer Nanoparticle Synthesis Using Microfluidics for Peptide Encapsulation” where he described some recent challenges and successes he’s had with developing nanoparticle carriers for antifungals.
