3B Lab 2021 Perspective

Despite the Ongoing issues with the COVID19 pandemic the 3B Lab had several successes in 2021. This includes the publication of two papers by Cristina as well as Akilah’s successful PhD Matriculation exam and Rob’s new paper submission.

We were also able to wrap up an industry project with NeverGerms as well as submit grant applications for two new endeavors.

The 3B Lab will continue to work hard for even greater success in 2022!

Students from the 3B Lab: Makayla Manfredi, Elizabeth Boyer, Axel Martinez Gaona, and Abigail Richter presented virtual posters on Blackboard. As part of this, Abigail received a poster award for her work on Aptamers Towards the West Nile Virus Spike Protein!

While we were sad that we could not meet in person; the event was a great success! We’ll hope to see you again in person soon!

BioPharma Networking Event a Success

In March 2020 the 3B Lab was involved in hosting the first ever BioPharma Networking Group event at Seton Hall University. This event connected our current students with SHU alumni and even brought outside professionals into the Pirate community. We look forward to having many more events in conjunction with BPNG in the future. Keep a lookout for event postings on this site!
