Charnette Frederic

Charnette is a Ph.D student with research mentor Dr. Wiedman in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University. From 2002 to May 2018 she was a senior scientist at Roche Molecular Systems performing analytical chemistry. She worked on test method transfer, test method development, and test method validation. From May 2018 to present, she is a senior scientist at Novartis performing flow cytometery. She is amazed by science and can’t wait to understand the challenges in delivering effective drug therapies at 3B Lab. She is Irvington Towsnship’s council member and chair of Irvington Green to support sustainability programs.

Rob is the youngest of three brothers trying to find his own unique way to succeed in life. He received his bachelors degree with a double major in Chemistry & Psychology from Rutgers The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick. During his undergraduate, while pursuing an interest in health care professions, he found his true passion for science & chemistry. After spending time in the fine chemical industry, he has returned to academia to achieve an advanced degree in the field. He enjoys challenging himself to find solutions to difficult problems. He contributes on a daily basis to the lab as a whole by applying his positive attitude & industry standard SOP's towards routine lab work.

Cristina ventura

Cristina is a doctoral student and teaching assistant in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University. She is enamored by the inherent order of the universe and by the marvelous complexity of the chemistry of life. She is interested in studying structure-function relationships of different biomolecules and is currently investigating antimicrobial peptides in the 3B lab. She also enjoys learning about theology and philosophy, writing poetry, swimming, and drinking espresso.

adam kmeck

Adam Kmeck is a first-generation college student in pursuit for a Master’s of Science in Chemistry. He is a teaching assistant for the Principles of Chemistry courses at Seton Hall University. His work focuses on the utilization of BAPCs (Branched Amphiphilic Peptide Capsules) under the supervision of Dr. Gregory Wiedman. His favorite topics in chemistry are physical chemistry and quantum chemistry.

kynzie m campbell

Kynzie is a BSN student in the College of Nursing at Seton Hall University with an interest in pursuing graduate studies. From 2013 to 2017, she was enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy magnet program. In the summer of 2016, she was selected for a Respiratory Therapy internship at Marquis Centennial Hills for rehabilitation and long-term care. Since May 2018 to present, she is a pharmacy technician in training. Being interested in drug resistance and the microbiology behind resistance, she hopes to discover ways to improve drug efficacy on resistant strains of bacteria at 3B Lab. She is from Las Vegas, NV

Marinelle Geda

Marinelle Geda is a second-year undergraduate student at Seton Hall University. She is currently a biochemistry major on the pre-med track and under the honors program. From November 2018 to present, she works with Dr. Wiedman and Charnette Frederic on therapeutic drug monitoring. Being interested in biomolecules and DNA studies, she enjoys her work on her research project, “Aptamers Towards Anti-Tuberculosis Drugs”. She likes to listen to music, play video games, or read classical novels in her free time.

Osei lindsay

Osei Lindsay is a Biochemistry major and a member of Seton Hall's Class of 2021. He is from Newark, New Jersey but spent most of my childhood in Kwamo, Ghana. This inspired him to move into medicine and to one day return to Ghana to help improve medical care. His future aspirations are to by God's grace become a Pediatrician and travel around the world using his learned skills to help improve medicine in underdeveloped countries.

Abigail Richter

Abigail is a second year undergraduate Chemistry student at Seton Hall University. She is majoring in Chemistry ACS and is planning to minor in French. She is on track to graduate in May of 2021. She currently is working on the Therapeutic Drug Monitoring project. She likes to sew and to nap in her free time.

Esther y Shinne

Esther is an undergraduate student at Seton Hall University working on her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She is hoping to expand her knowledge in not just learning to help people in hospitals but outside of it with the researches she will be involved in with Dr. Wiedman and her other co-researchers. Her future projects will be involving drugs and how it can become more efficient or other ways to monitor the drugs. She loves to listen to music, read books, exercise, and finding great shopping deals.

Dr. Gregory Wiedman

Greg is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University.  He's fascinated by the cell membrane and by how important it is for life on this planet.  For this reason, he created the 3B lab and uses every tool he can to create new molecules to probe this important cellular structure.  He is also an avid hiker, baker, and bocce player.
